I have good memories with this painting.  This is the view from the Boa Vista (Good View) Bar where locals would arrive in the early evening to mingle over a few Brahma beers, caipirinhas and local tunes.   This scene captures the Branco River as the day darkened and the water transformed into an immense, shimmering silver mass in front of me and the forests behind grew louder.
